There are many great things about this recipe including taking only about 10 minutes to make, only need 4 ingredients, no added sugar, and taste delicious!!!
Ok enough blabbing, let’s get to the recipe!
4 Ingredient Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
Yes, this is true – You only need the following 4 Ingredients!
Note: I used almond butter when I made them because I didn’t have any peanut butter in the house (but any nut butter is fine!)
Note: You Can also swap maple syrup for honey if you wish…..
Mix the unsweetened cocoa powder with the coconut oil and maple syrup in a bowl. You can use an electric mixer if you like, but a whisk works fine too!
Next……..
Spoon a small layer to the bottom of a greased muffin tin (I used a little bit of coconut oil). You can also use paper muffin tin liners if you want. I only had a larger muffin tin when I made this recipe, but they came out fairly large so I would recommend using a mini muffin tin for smaller bite size treats!
After you have added the bottom layer of chocolate, spoon a small amount of almond butter (or nut butter of choice) on top. I didn’t measure the almond butter, just eye ball a scoop will be fine! I probably put about 1/2 a tablespoon per cup. Then spoon more chocolate on top of the almond butter to cover it up.
Then you are all done!!! Pop the muffin tin in the freezer for about 20-30 minutes and BOOM they are ready to go!
Yes this Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Recipe tastes just as good as it looks!!!
Here is the recipe:
NOTE: I doubled the recipe to make a larger batch and it made 9 cups in a large muffin tin, but they are a little big so I would recommend using a mini muffin tin or cutting the larger ones in half 🙂

1/3 Cup Coconut Oil
1/3 Cup Maple Syrup
Nut Butter of Choice
