Wow, look at me Mom!!! I am so honoured to be asked by Impact Magazine to create a workout including some of my favourite core training exercises.  Core performance is my favourite topic to talk about and my favourite thing to focus on in my own training, therefore, when they asked I jumped at the opportunity.   Well my fitness company is called Core Conditioning after all, I have to live up to the name right??

On the real though, I have reaped the benefits of having a strong core through my athletic career (with very minimal injuries – knock on wood!), carrying and birthing a child (got him out in 3 pushes!! #corebrag), and just functioning in everyday life.  It’s such a good feeling to feel like you can’ t be pushed over, to feel so stable and strong through your horse, and only those who have experienced it know what I’m talking about.  Once you feel this stability and strength you will never look back, I promise!  My online fitness training app is called the Train 4 Life Fitness App and there is a reason I named it that, it’s because I truly believe we are all athletes of life.  By strengthening our bodies properly, we are also training to function better in everyday life with less pain and prevent injury through performing basic activities of everyday life.

Ok enough chit chat, let’s check out my 3 PAGE SPREAD in Impact Magazine!!! Yes, I’m excited, I have worked hard my entire career and I am not taking this for granted at all.  I have achieved a lot in my career thus far and I make sure to take time to let it all sink in and really appreciate the opportunities I have been given.

Note: This core performance workout with Impact Magazine is a little bit more of an advanced core workout, but if you are looking for a more beginner workout to get started with building your core, check this one out!
