With Summer on the way it will be imperative to have these healthy homemade smoothie popsicles in the freezer ready to snack on. Both my husband and my toddler love having popsicles in the freezer for an afternoon or after dinner snack, but the health nut in me would rather them be enjoying healthier homemade smoothie popsicles. Store bought popsicles are loaded with added sugar and although those are fine once and a while, these healthy popsicles are much better to have in the freezer for a guilt-free snack anytime!
So Easy Even a Toddler Can Make Them
Getting my 2 year old involved in baking (Check out our Healthy Banana Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe Here!) and creating snacks in the kitchen. He loves being included and getting messy in the kitchen. He always enjoys the process (as you can see in our videos), but also seems so proud when he get’s to show people or tell people about what he made. This makes the creation of healthy snacks fun for all of us and although it makes clean up a lot more difficult, it’s always great to see his creativity running wild.
How To Make Our Favourite Homemade Smoothie Popsicles
We have played around with so many different homemade smoothie recipes, but we decided to film how we make our favourite two flavours. We don’t have any popsicle moulds in the house (we keep forgetting to order them), but we have found that using paper cups works perfectly fine too. Jaxson calls popsicles “babies” as you will see in our video below (something from when he was younger that kind of stuck with him lol), but he sure seems happy to show you how to make babies! lol.

Mango Strawberry Homemade Smoothie Popsicle Recipe
Ingredients:
- Frozen Mango
- Frozen Strawberry
That’s It!! Throw the mango in a blender with some water to create a puree (amount is dependent on how many popsicles you want to make). Then put strawberries in a blender separately and blend with water to create a puree. Pour the mango puree into the mould (paper cup lol) and then add a small layer of strawberry puree at the top to create a cool looking popsicle. Stick a popsicle stick in the cup and then place in the freezer for 3-5 house or until frozen.
Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Homemade Smoothie Popsicle
